As I have been grieving the loss of my mom, I know these are thoughts that my father has been experiencing--and you are right there are no word to describe the depth of the pain.

My pain is not at the loss of a spouse, but of my mother who was my best friend, my confidant, my biggest fan...your words of what I have read so far ring so true in my ears and echo much of what I wrote through my prayer updates to my friends and family through her 15 month battle--and the also of the many journal entries afterwards. Just today in a study we learned that our heartache always has an excellent reason and an eternal purpose.

I would like to share my mom and my goodbyes towards her end on her...because our loved ones loved us with that eternal love as well--

Whenever I would leave, we would never forget to say "I love you." But ours wasn't the typical "I love you." After the initial "I love you," I would ask, "yesterday?" She would ask "today?" I would ask "tonight?" She would ask "tomorrow?" Then I would say "Forever?" and she replied "FOREVER." And tonight, I can rest, knowing that my mom is loving me forever and has loved me every moment of my life...

Thank you for sharing your testimony and reminding me to keep my eyes fixed on the author and perfector of my faith...Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05484715237252450367noreply@blogger.com
